Kempston Concert Band is a local concert band catering to all ages and abilities. We welcome woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists from all over Bedfordshire and beyond. Rehearsals are held weekly with a termly concert to raise funds for local charities.

We hold termly concerts at Kempston East Methodist Church to raise money for local charities. You can enjoy the music and raffle at the interval.

The band has been going strong since 1972 ad continues to grow and develop to this day.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I settled in so easily and my confidence has grown massively.

We are back!

New Year, new music! The band are dusting off those instruments and back to rehearsals this evening ready for our Easter concert! Watch this space for details!

Back to it!

After a fantastic film themed concert the band had a well deserved few weeks off, but fear not, we are back in action tonight starting our summer term rehearsals! Make sure you get our summer concert date in your diary… Monday 15th July at 7:30pm!

We are back to rehearsals this week and on the home stretch to our film themed spring concert! Add the date to your diary and we shall see you all there!

Halfway!

Don’t forget that there is no rehearsal tomorrow as it is half term. Halfway to the concert so still some time to get that extra practice in and perfect the pieces!

SUMMER!

And that’s a wrap on the summer term for the band! We hope you all enjoyed our concert last night and wish you all a fabulous summer. The band will be back rehearsing at the beginning of September and we look forward to seeing everyone at our Christmas concert (date to be confirmed)!
